The story follows the entanglement between a young, handsome general and an emperor. The general bears an uncanny resemblance to the emperor's most hated love rival, which makes him a frequent subject of threats and torture. As their relationship develops, love and hate become entwined and indistinguishable from one another, leaving their mark on both of their lives.
